How It Works

1 on 1 sessions, where and when?

The most fundamental and impactful form of tutoring is through 1 on 1 in-person lessons. During these hour long sessions, tutors are able to have meaningful conversations with students which allows a strong mentorship bond to develop. Through this, academic guidance, detailed strategies on acing subjects and assignments, tips and tricks, and most importantly - confidence - is passed onto the student. When you get in touch, we'll chat through the best times to arrange lessons which can take place either at your own home; a nearby or agreed-upon public library, or when organised with the school prior, on school-grounds. On-site school tutoring is available only at special request but the best option is simply to get in touch!

Online sessions + offline drafting

In some circumstances, online sessions can be crucial when in-person contact may be restricted. In this scenario, a Microsoft Teams or Zoom meeting will be arranged by the tutor.

Many students, particularly in year 12, prefer to have their assignments drafted and returned without an in-person or online meeting. This is one of the most common types of tutoring when it comes to the SACE and IB. Tutors are able to provide detailed comments on an assignment within extremely short time frames so that the student is ready and well-informed to make alterations which will result in better quality work. Drafting is available for all of the subjects listed in the 'high school tutoring' section so get in touch today!
